We recently went to this unassuming restaurant in Church St. Actually, we wanted to try the Kurdish street food place at the market a few meters down the street, but opted for Shtaura because we wanted a place to sit. And was that a good choice! We had a Lamb Kofta in a roll and they really know their way around the flavours.
It was even a very decent price.

A very rare find. Excellent quality lamb kofta with rice and salad. Meats cooked fresh to order over charcoal. For the quality and portion size, priced very reasonably. Small seating area inside and a few tables outside. This is a food lovers cafe/restaurant. Highly recommend.
The owners are friendly and welcoming. The food is authentic, tasty, abundant and reasonably priced. They gave me a falafel wrap instead of a platter, but that can happen, and I wouldn't fuss about it. While we were waiting, they made me try falafel and gave me bread for free. What you see in the pic are mixed grills.

Excellent lebanese food and very reasonable prices. Service is quick, everything fresh and Mohammed who served me is super friendly. Highly recommend and I will certainly be back!

This is the most underrated place ever. It has the best food for extremely good prices and you get very good quality for your money. I come here regularly 3-4 times a week because the standards are maintained and the food stays amazing. This place is a must!!
Amazing, mouthwatering delicious, healthy food, all cooked freshly and to order on the premises. Generous portions. They really should be charging much more! This food would cost THREE times as much if it were a restaurant 300 yards south, in Marylebone. FANTASTIC value and really nice people. RECOMMENDED AAA*****
